Lovespoon symbols in 18K gold-plated steel
For centuries in Wales, a carved lovespoon said what was hard to say out loud: a heart for love, a key for home, a horseshoe for luck. We cut those symbols in 18K gold-plated stainless steel, and every piece comes with a card that explains what it means.

Five meanings
The shop is sorted the way a lovespoon is read: by meaning. Every symbol belongs to one of five, and every piece lists the traditional meaning of the symbols it carries.

On a lovespoon the symbols run down the handle, one below the other, and the order is part of the message. Pick two, three or four, set the order, and we link them into a drop that ends in a tiny spoon bowl. You see the line-up and the price change as you choose.
In every box
Each piece is packed with a small cream card for every symbol it carries: the symbol on the front, its traditional meaning on the back, and room to write your own words. Product pages show exactly what each card says.
Pocket lovespoons
Traditional lovespoons were carved by hand over many evenings. Ours are not: they are small wooden spoons about 12 cm long, with the symbols laser-engraved down the handle, finished with oil and packed with their cards. A keepsake for a pocket, a drawer or a frame, not for the kitchen.
