Terms & Conditions
Terms and conditions of sale for the ELQUVANI online shop.
These terms apply to every order placed on elquvani.com. Please read them before you order. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. Who we are
elquvani.com is run by EMMANUEL DADA TRADING LIMITED, trading as ELQUVANI, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17560397, registered office 25 Clare Street, Manselton, Swansea, SA5 9PG, United Kingdom. Email support@elquvani.com, telephone +44 7857 754867.
2. Who can order
Our shop is for consumers aged 18 or over buying for personal use. We deliver only to the countries listed on our Shipping & delivery page.
3. Products
We describe each piece as accurately as we can: materials, approximate size in millimetres, chain length or ring size, the symbols it carries and the meaning cards included. Our jewellery is 18K gold-plated 316L stainless steel; it is not solid gold. Pocket lovespoons are natural wood with laser-engraved symbols; they are decorative keepsakes and are not for use with food. Sizes can vary slightly from piece to piece, and colours can look slightly different on different screens. Clothing, keys, cups, suitcases and other props shown with a product are not included. The meanings we describe are traditional associations from the Welsh lovespoon custom; we do not claim that any piece brings luck, protection or any other effect. Jewellery contains small parts; it is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 3.
4. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency of the delivery country you choose (GBP, EUR, DKK, SEK, NOK, CHF or USD), with the currency code next to the total. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you place the order, plus the delivery cost shown before payment. EMMANUEL DADA TRADING LIMITED is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added at checkout. For deliveries outside the UK, import VAT, duties and customs fees may be charged by your country on delivery and are paid by the recipient. If we make an obvious pricing error, we will tell you and you may cancel the order for a full refund.
5. How the contract is made
When you click “Place order and pay”, you make an offer to buy the goods and agree to pay for them. We send an email confirming that we have received your order; the contract is made when we send you an email confirming dispatch. We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a payment is not authorised; in that case we refund any amount taken in full.
6. Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment providers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection; we never see or store your full card details. Your bank statement will show ELQUVANI.
7. Delivery
Orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days with tracking. Delivery costs and estimated times for each country are on our Shipping & delivery page. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us.
8. Your right to cancel
You can cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. How to cancel, the model cancellation form, return costs and refunds are explained on our Returns & refunds page. You can also cancel online with Withdraw from contract here.
9. Faulty goods and your legal rights
For hygiene reasons, earrings can only be returned under your right to cancel if the seal on their card sleeve is unbroken. This does not affect your rights if earrings are faulty.
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund, and after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or a refund or price reduction where these are not possible. Consumers in the EU have at least the two-year legal guarantee that applies in their country. See Returns & refunds.
10. Promotions and Build-a-Spoon
We do not currently run discount codes or promotions. If we do in future, the conditions will be shown with the offer. Build-a-Spoon necklaces are priced by the number of symbols (two, three or four) and can only be made from symbols shown as in stock. We do not engrave names or make pieces to your own design.
11. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
12. Your account and personal data
You can order as a guest or with an account. We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order applies to that order.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first if you have a complaint; information on dispute resolution is on our Legal Information page.
